EXCELCARE is based on the patient-care-standards methodology. An industry first,
EXCELCARE is a Windows, PC-based, decision support System for both managers and
clinical staff. A multi-functional tool of this caliber is essential in today's healthcare
climate. EXCELCARE's staff of clinical professionals and managers are always available
for consultation, working with our client's staff to optimally utilize data for day to day
decisions and long-range planning.

The EXCELCARE methodology represents over 30 years of research and has been proven,
accurate and reliable. The data generated is utilized to support strategic decision-making
in numerous areas of healthcare; Clinicians are provided with computerized documentation
to greatly reduce the time spent charting. Quality improvement is supplied with invaluable
outcome statistics generated from the care on a per case basis. Staffing departments are
provided with skill mix data in the support of re-engineering. They also have the ability to
export the acuity; direct and indirect clinical time to a staffing tool i.e.: (ANSOS Polyoptimum,
AtStaff, etc...) Accounting is provided with useful acuity information. Acuity is defined,
gathered on a real time base on a per patient per clinician level. Utilization Review has
concurrent data for monitoring LOS and assisting with case management, measurement of
